"The Bible: Fact or Fiction?"

Is the Bible just a bunch of "nonsense written by superstitious, Iron Age peasants" or a reliable account of historical facts? Come out and find out! Coming up on Friday September 4th, 7-9pm in the Fellowship Hall of Mt. Zion UMC we'll be kicking off next year's activities with Steve Schrader's talk on "The Bible: Fact or Fiction?", a talk about the historical reliability of the Bible. There will be free pizza starting at 6:30pm! Following the talk we will be doing a 6-week group book study on "The New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable?" starting September 24th from 7-8:30pm. It's a short read and I will be offering books discounted to $5 (regular $12). Kindle eBooks are available for$3 online. We will be doing the class on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm in rooms 9 & 10 (the second floor of the Fellowship Hall at Mt. Zion UMC).
