Approach

How are we going to accomplish our chapter's mission?

We will have a two-pronged approach:
  1. Group studies
  2. Community events
Group Studies
Group studies will consist of an hour-and-a-half meeting to review and discuss an apologetic-centered topic as a group. The study topics will be content based (e.g. existence of God, historicity of Jesus' resurrection, foundation of morality, etc.) as well as strategy based (i.e. how to effectively present an apologetic). The purpose of the meetings will be to learn and retain information.

Who is welcome to come to a group study? Anyone! It is open to anyone from the committed Christian to skeptical nonbeliever. We only ask that everyone who attends is open-minded and cordial. Since the expectation is that those in the group are there to learn, we ask that folks come prepared (i.e. read the material ahead of time). But, again, anyone is welcome even if you didn't read ahead!

Community Events
Community events are aimed at teaching, equipping, and at the very least making the greater community aware of Christian apologetics. The community events are for those who are interested in apologetics but are not able to attend the group studies. They will serve as a conduit for those who are regularly attending and learning at the group studies to pour out to others. These events could consist of movie nights, debate screenings, lectures, conferences, etc. Again, all are welcome to attend these.
