When Worlds Collide: Stepping Up and Standing Out in an Anti-God Culture

For parents: Child care is available for both days. Additionally there will be a children's move shown on Friday and "The Balloon Man" visiting on Saturday!


Friday Night Teachings


  1. When Worldviews Collide. What is a worldview? Why does it matter? How does our faith change the way we see the world? How is this different from how our culture sees the world? 2 Corinthians 5:16-17, Romans 12:2, Colossians 2:8-10, John 17:14-18.
  2. Caving In. Why do we compromise being different in a world that wants us to conform? What idols have we adopted that must be removed from our lives if we are to effectively reach our culture for Christ? Acts 17:16-34.


Saturday Morning Teachings


  1. Cave Dwellers. How does the church become inward focused and miss our mission? How do we take the church to our communities? Are we hiding our light or letting it shine? Matthew 5:14-16.
  2. More Than Morality. How have we oversimplified Christianity into a system of ethics? What does it really mean to follow Jesus? Where might He lead us? What are we holding on to that keeps us from moving forward with Him? Luke 18:18-30.

Dr. Mike Blackaby is Henry Blackaby's oldest grandson. He currently serves as a church planter in Victoria, BC, Canada, where he lives with his wife, Sarah, and their two
sons. He holds a Ph.D. in apologetics from Southern Seminary.

He has co-authored two books for young adults: "When Worlds Collide: Stepping up and Standing Out in an anti-God Culture" and "Seven Steps to Knowing, Doing and Experiencing the Will of God." Mike speaks on apologetics, experiencing God, and reaching the next generation for Christ.
